Student Council sponsored a $2 Pink Change of Pace for Breast Cancer Awareness on Oct 11th. Proceeds will go to Griffin Breast Care Center. Thanks to all who participated!  Box of Joy items will be accepted starting Monday, October 15th until Nov 11th.  This program is the Catholic version of the Operation Christmas Child program that we had participated in for the last few years.  Please be generous and make some children smile!

Student council sends thanks to all the families for their generosity in all the school community outreaches!

Please encourage your children to use their planners.  HW will also be posted on my webpage, but be aware that assignment dates can change if lessons change due to lack of understanding, snow days, or events at the school that shorten class time. Grades can also be seen for your child using your password code on EDUCONNECT.

I hope you will all check my web page often, to keep up to date with assignments, tests and projects and reports. Parents can check grades with your family code. My webpage with assignments can be checked by going into Faculty and clicking on the web symbol.

Note to parents:  Study guides and HW assignments, except those that are classwork to be finished at home, are posted on my webpage.  In most cases, the study guides will not be given out in class. However, if there is an issue printing once in a while, your child can ask me for a copy or can get a copy from a classmate.

Reading is very important and everyone should be reading at least 15 minutes a day. It increases vocabulary, and comprehension and provides knowledge and a glimpse into an author's imagination.  With this in mind, ALL students are required to have a book everyday. They can read when their work or test is finished and at home if desired.

You can click on the Homework from this web pg also on the left for daily HW.    ALSO, PLEASE NOTE THAT ANYTHING NOT FINISHED IN CLASS IS ALSO HW AND WILL NOT ALWAYS BE LISTED ON THE HW pages.  I STILL EXPECT ALL STUDENTS TO USE TEIR PLANNERS DAILY.  This web page can also be checked in the event of an absence, so if the book is home, work can be done. Thank you.
